Meet Daniel Breen!

Official Title: CondoPak Program Underwriter

Mini Bio:

Dan has over ten years’ experience in insurance and risk management.  A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Dan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and worked for more than eight years for a National Program Manager in Pennsylvania.   He began his career as an Underwriting Assistant, before rising to Product Coordinator and Underwriting Supervisor. His experience has included underwriting risks for accident, health, property, casualty, packages, and commercial umbrellas. After moving back to New York, Dan joined New Empire Group in 2010 as a Commercial Underwriter. Dan is currently one of the lead Underwriters in New Empire Group specializing in providing insurance brokers with package solutions for Condo’s and Co-op’s for our exclusive CondoPak Program. A sports enthusiast, in his spare time he can be found on the golf course, at kickboxing, or doing other athletic activities to keep fit.

 

What do you enjoy most about working for New Empire Group?

I’ve always been a people person and I really enjoy the daily interaction with my coworkers, our carriers and brokers.

What has been your favorite project at New Empire Group?

Helping to launch and underwrite CondoPak which has become a successful Condo/Co-op package program.  

What is Your Motto or Personal Mantra?

To enjoy life to the fullest by doing whatever makes you happiest and by being yourself. 

Tell us a little about your personal life?

I am recently married and I live in Long Beach, NY.
